Archaeologists enjoy multiple employment opportunities such as an academic, conservator, consultant archaeologist, educator, government and policy sector; especially heritage, museum researcher or worker, Native Title specialist or tourism worker.
Further Study
Honours is the minimum qualification required to call yourself an archaeologist. At UWA we have honours, masters, and PhD programs in Archaeology, plus a Master of Heritage Studies. Throughout your studies, you can undertake independent vocational training using the Arts Practicum.
