Help restore a person’s independence and mobility by learning to diagnose, treat, and manage patients’ foot and lower leg problems.
Students gain hands-on experience in our state-of-the-art Podiatry Clinic located at the Central Coast Wyong Hospital. Take part in rural and regional placement opportunities in both the public and private sectors.
As part of your studies you will:
Learn how to identify and analyse complex health problems within podiatry practice and develop solutions to these problems.
Learn to work within a multidisciplinary health team to best meet patients’ health needs.
Undertake rural and regional health placements at our podiatry clinics.
Develop critical research skills that will set you in good stead for life-long learning as a podiatrist.
You will study a range of podiatry courses including:
anatomy
physiology
biomechanics
podiatric theory
clinical practice

General or specialised podiatry practice (eg sports podiatry), private and public practices, hospitals, rehabilitation and community health centres, sports clinics, research centres and consultancy.
