Overview
The Graduate Diploma of Food Science is designed for graduates from related disciplines wishing to advance their knowledge and skills in this area. In this program you'll develop your technical knowledge and ability to analyse food science problems and gain a deeper understanding of the agri-food business, in addition to meeting or maintaining professional accreditation standards and furthering your career opportunities.
Our courses provide strategies and tools to increase efficiency and performance, and the chance to learn alongside like-minded industry professionals. The Graduate Diploma also provides a pathway towards the Master of Food Science.

A student must hold a Bachelor degree in Food Science or a cognate discipline (defined for each specialisation), with a minimum 65% average, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university or tertiary institution, in order to be admitted to the program.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 6.5 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL IBT (Internet Based): 90 overall (min. 23 in writing, 22 in reading, listening and speaking); Pearson (PTE - Academic): 64 overall (min. 54 in each subtest); C1 Advanced Cambridge: 176 overall (min. 169 in each subtest); C2 Proficiency Cambridge: 180 overall (min. 180 in each subtest); UNSW Global University English Entry Course (UEEC): Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of C+ and a minimum grade of C in the writing component.
