Sheridan’s Business Administration – Accounting program prepares you for an exciting career in business, accounting or finance.
Sheridan's accounting professors are heavily involved in the financial industry, presenting at conferences and contributing to publications of accounting textbooks. Many have written books on financial topics, and many hold the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) designation. Our professors maintain strong relationships to local industry that often lead to co-op opportunities for our students.

The popular online Business Simulation Game (BSG) is a unique way to test your accounting and business skills running a fictitious company against collegiate teams from around the world. Sheridan's three-year accounting program is one of the few in the area to offer this collaborative, hands-on simulation.

Record financial transactions in compliance with Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for sole proprietorships, partnerships, private enterprises, publicly accountable enterprises and non-profit organizations.
Prepare and present financial statements, reports and other documents in compliance with Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for sole proprietorships, partnerships and private enterprises.
Contribute to recurring decision-making by applying fundamental management accounting concepts, prepare individuals' income tax returns and basic tax planning in compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
