Graduate Diploma in Accounting (Level 7) Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki

Graduates of this diploma will have a sound understanding of the dynamic and changing environment in which managers operate in New Zealand and internationally, that will enable them to apply that knowledge at both organisational and strategic levels in a range of industries and organisations. You will learn the theory and application of financial and management accounting processes and practice to include financial reports and taxation regulations. Content includes financial and management accounting at intermediate and advanced levels, taxation and an industry project. This qualification provides a thorough grounding in business and management practice, appropriate for people wishing to enter management roles in business.

To be awarded a Graduate Diploma you will successfully complete 120 credits at Levels 6 and 7 as shown below:

• 120 credits
• all compulsory papers specified for the Graduate Diploma
• a minimum of 45 credits at Level 6
• a minimum of 75 credits at Level 7
