This recently created group has come together as a result of the development of the medical school at the University of Central Lancashire over the last three years. The numbers joining the group are increasing as the medical school grows. The group currently contains members with interests in a range of clinically related research areas and also work with groups in other Faculties and other Universities. Specific areas of research interests currently bring supported include Head Injury Management, Cardiovascular Disease, Pulmonary Disease, Infectious Diseases, gastroenterology and cancer. The group has already established strong collaborative links across academic and health care settings to develop and deliver both research and education.
Applicants need a recognised UK first degree, second class honours or above; or a UK Masters degree or equivalent qualification. Where English is not your first language an English language qualification is required at IELTS 6.5/7.0 or equivalent, acceptable qualification.
