A healthy body begins with healthy nutrition. It is important to understand how the foods we eat, and those that we don’t eat, affect our health. In this program, you will study the nutritional needs of the body and apply that knowledge to advise others in healthy eating. Examine human anatomy and physiology, and explore the role of vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats, carbohydrates and microscopic organisms in the body’s biochemical processes. Learn to create nutrition plans, calculate caloric needs, plan healthy menus and advise clients about their diets.

Students must have 2.5 on a 4.0 GPA scale is required from secondary school. They must meet criteria for admission to university level study in home country. They should also satisfy the following English language requirements:

  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) minimum score of 525 on the paper test or 70 on the Internet-based test
  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) minimum score of 6.0
  • Pearson (PTE) Academic score of 48
  • ELS Language Centers, pass of Level 112
  • Cambridge CAE (Certificate of Advanced English), pass
  • Cambridge CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English), pass
  • Cambridge International "O" Levels, pass
  • English proficiency demonstration is waived for any applicant who has a previous degree at an accredited U.S. institution

Priority Application Dates – Fall: May 1; Spring: October 1; Summer: March 15
