Our English for New Media program gives a traditional English degree a jolt of new technology, preparing our graduates to take on new media forms with their experience and skills in writing, literature, and language.
Our graduates are ready to work with texts in any form; from paper to digital to video and beyond.
Integrated technology
At DSU, you'll go beyond pen and paper. You'll complete assignments using modern communication tools like web publishing platforms and content management systems. You’ll also use the latest software to create, analyze, and respond to a variety of texts.

Applicants must completion of their final year of secondary school.
Have an above-average academic record at least equivalent to a "B-" (2.60 on a 4.00 GPA scale).
Be in the top 60% of your class.
Get an ACT composite score of 18 or above, or get a sub score on the SAT Reasoning Test Math and Critical Reading of 870 or above
you must demonstrate proficiency in English with one of the following exams and the indicated minimum score:

IELTS: 6.0 (with no sub score less than 5.5)
PTE Academic: 50
SAT: Minimum sub-score of 450 on both Critical Reading and Writing, Math 480
