The Master of Agricultural Education - Accelerated Master's Program option is designed to prepare individuals pursuing a bachelor's degree in agriculture with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to teach agriculture at the secondary level. This Accelerated Master's Program is for eligible, current undergraduate students at the University of Arizona. The Department of Agricultural Education contributes to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences' unique functional role as a leader in the University's land-grant mission by providing an array of programs in formal undergraduate and graduate instruction, research, and service to enable the people of Arizona, the nation, and beyond to improve the quality of their lives. The primary mission of Agricultural Education is serving a diverse population through teaching, application, integration, and discovery in agriculture, education, and applied science and technology leading to successful careers in agricultural education and related businesses and industries.

LRC 516: Structured English foundations OR LCEV 508: Methods of teaching English to English language learners
LRC 517: Structured English immersion methods OR LCEV 516: Sheltered English instruction methods
Students must meet the Arizona History and Constitution requirement for eligibility for institutional recommendation to the Arizona Department of Education for teacher certification.
Student teaching is a required component of this degree program.
A cumulative project is a requirement for this degree program.
