The Master of Arts in Global Leadership and Sustainable Development is designed to prepare students to lead change initiatives to enhance environmental performance, convert economic development into sustainable development, and increase environmental sustainability in all human systems. Students learn to simultaneously search for the underlying causes of global environmental, economic and social problems, while also learning to design and lead initiatives that produce sustainable outcomes for the current and future generations.
The program requires a minimum of 42 credit hours of graduate work. The 42 credit hours are divided into 24 credit hours of core courses, 3 credit hours of a core elective, 6 credit hours of research, and 9 credit hours of a supporting field.

Students who have earned a baccalaureate degree (or the equivalent to a U.S. college or university degree for international students) with a GPA of 2.7 or higher are encouraged to apply for admission.
English Language Score: TOEFL (IBT): 80; IELTS: 6.0 overall; ELS Language Centers: Level 112; Eiken (applies to the MA TESOL Program only): Grade 1. Application Deadlines: November 1st for Spring entry and June 1st for Fall entry.
