Up to 150 fellowships shall be awarded annually to new full-time students admitted to any one of the taught postgraduate programmes in the Faculty of Business and Economics based on the following criteria: 

a. Academic performance;
b. Relevance of work experience, if applicable; and
c. Interview performance, if applicable. 

Financial need may also be taken into consideration.

The Fellowship shall not be paid directly to the awardees, but rather be applied to cover their composition fees. The value of each fellowship shall range from HK$250,000 to the full prevailing composition fee. An additional subsistence allowance shall be granted to awardees who successfully enroll to the International Study Field Trip to cover the cost of shared-room accommodation. Awardees shall be responsible for their flights, visas, insurance, meals in designated free evenings and other incidental or personal expenses.
