The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) was established in accordance with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools upon approval by the Ministry of Education. CUHK-Shenzhen strives to provide an education that features an integration of the East and the West and one that fosters an enriching research environment. The university places particular emphasis on cultivating innovative talents with a global perspective, Chinese cultural traditions and social responsibilities. CUHK-Shenzhen has eight schools which, together with the Graduate School, offer 28 undergraduate programmes and 46 postgraduate programmes. The university encourages international experiences and has signed agreements with more than 150 renowned universities in 30 countries across the globe, offering around 250 international programmes of different types. CUHK-Shenzhen’s green campus with modern facilities reflects both Chinese elements and Western charm.
