Academic excellence
The CQUniversity ASEAN Student Scholarship is a highly competitive scholarship offering 50 per cent off tuition fees for eligible undergraduate, postgraduate coursework and research courses at CQUniversity Australia.
This scholarship is limited and awarded to high‑achieving international students who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their community or chosen field.
Designed to recognise future changemakers from Southeast Asia, this scholarship supports motivated students to access a world‑class Australian education while investing in their long‑term career success.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the CQUniversity ASEAN Student Scholarship, you must:

Your academic results must place you within the top tier of eligible applicants from the region. Additionally, your video will be reviewed for evidence of outstanding changemaker potential, including demonstrated academic excellence, leadership capability, and impact beyond the classroom.

As part of the application, please submit a video of no more than two minutes explaining why you consider yourself deserving of the scholarship, providing evidence of your academic excellence, leadership potential, and/or impact beyond the classroom, and outlining how the scholarship will support your academic journey and future career aspirations.
You are required to submit your video within 3 days of submitting your CQUniversity application. This ensures the scholarship selection panel can review your video alongside your full application as a complete submission.
Supporting documentation
You must provide certified copies of your completion certificates and academic transcripts.
If your documents are not in English, you must also include certified English translations. This helps us accurately assess your application.
