John Tyndall Scholarship

The John Tyndall Scholarship is awarded to a first year Doctor or Master of Philosophy Science Physics candidate, who has completed a Master or Bachelor of Science (Honours) at the University of Melbourne in the School of Physics.

Benefits

A one-off payment of up to AUD $500. The recipient of this scholarship also receives the Dieul-Kurzweil Scholarship, worth around AUD $1000.

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

Complete a Master of Science or Bachelor of Science Honours in the School of Physics, at the University of Melbourne, and

Be enrolled in the first year of a Doctor or Master of Philosophy Science research program in the School of Physics, at the University of Melbourne.

Applicants who have been awarded the Dixson Scholarship in Experimental Physics or the Professor Kernot Research Scholarship in Physics will not be considered for this scholarship.
