Superior Academic Achievement (equivalent to a GPA of 3.5 or greater on the U of A grading scale) Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Nominee must be conducting research in Structural Engineering First or second year of a master's degree program Awarded on the basis of superior academic achievement (equivalent to a GPA of 3.5 or greater on the U of A grading scale) Preference will be given to a graduate student conducting research with innovation in the area of Structural Engineering (beyond the current state of science), that may lead to translational application in industry Students may apply in open competition to hold this award for one additional year should they remain eligible Open to Canadian citizens.
