The purpose of this scholarship is to support students in a programme for an honours degree in English or for an MWRIT at the University of Canterbury.
Tenure: One year
Applicable enrolment during tenure: Candidates must have been completing a programme for a degree with a major in English at the University in the year of the award.

In making the recommendation, the Head of the Department of English (or nominee) considers achievement in 300-level English.
