The Global Impact Scholarship is one of the many practical steps for us implementing this strategy while recognising the importance of our external influence and the impact of our actions on the world around us and the challenges that face us as a society.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

• Currently holding an offer (conditional or unconditional) for an eligible postgraduate taught programme
• Currently domiciled (permanently living) in country listed in the table below.
• Evidence of exceptional academic achievement (normally a first-class honours degree)
• Commitment to contribute to the development of your home country after graduation.*
• Full understanding of the costs involved in coming to study and live in the UK
• Evidence of strong motivation and initiative to secure funds to cover the remainder of the costs involved
• Applicants should be high calibre graduates with the personal, intellectual, and interpersonal qualities necessary for leadership and driving sustainable change within communities.

Applicants are advised to spend considerable effort ensuring that this application reaches the selectors in a form that is clear, well presented and which reflects their abilities and motivation.
