Mary Elizabeth Rankin Travel Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by a legacy to the School of Law from the estate of Mrs Mairi Rankin. The scholarship funds international travel in connection with postgraduate programmes in private international law at the University of Glasgow. The scholarship is awarded for a period not exceeding one year.

To be eligible students must be registered or have accepted an unconditional offer to study full-time for a PhD or LLM(R) in private international law at the University of Glasgow.

Value

To be determined on an individual basis. In appropriate cases, an award will be made to cover travel expenses and a stipend during a period of study at an overseas institution.

Selection will be based on academic excellence, relevance of the trip to be undertaken and anticipated impact on the student’s studies.
