Eligibility criteria

To be considered for this award, candidates must complete and submit the application form (in the How to apply section). It will not be possible to consider an individual for this award without the submission of this form

Candidates must have applied for and been offered a place on The Beatles, Heritage and Culture MA to be considered for a scholarship

Up to two awards are available in each academic year, with each award worth £4,000

The scholarship will be awarded as a reduction on the tuition fee, and will be redeemed in its entirety against the tuition fee for the first year of study

The scholarship is available to both UK and overseas applicants

Candidates must not have a previous postgraduate award (PGCert, PGDip, master's degree or equivalent)

The successful candidates will keep the University regularly updated on progress and achievements. The candidates will be required to assist in the promotion of the scholarship and The Beatles, Heritage and Culture MA as appropriate and when requested to do so

The scholarship is conditional upon successful academic progress and demonstration of professional behaviour. The panel reserves the right to withdraw or suspend the scholarship if there are any reasons for concern.
