All student athletes in our sporting performance programmes benefit from our unrivalled support and ethos of sporting development.

Performance squad members receive thousands of pounds worth of support, incorporating coaching, strength and conditioning, sports medicine, sports science, nutrition, psychology, lifestyle and academic flexibility. In addition to this incredible support, our sport scholarships provide direct financial support. 

• Up to £5,000 per year
• Free Loughborough Sport Gold membership, which includes membership of Powerbase, one of the country’s largest strength and conditioning gyms
• Free Athletic Union club membership
• Campus parking permit

We have performance programmes for athletics, badminton, basketball, cricket, cycling, football, hockey, netball, rugby union, squash, swimming, tennis, triathlon and women's wheelchair basketball.
