Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology - VNU-HCM is a member school of the Ho Chi Minh City National University system. The National Technical Center, the predecessor of the school, was established in 1957. Currently, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology is currently the largest training, scientific research and technology transfer center operating in the southern provinces and is a premier technical university in Vietnam. At present, the school currently manages 12 Faculties/Training Centers, training undergraduate majors, master's majors, doctoral majors, with a total of over 23,000 students, more than 2,100 graduate students and nearly 300 doctoral students. The University of Technology has a long list of achievements in scientific research and technology transfer, having implemented many projects on technological tasks at different levels and contributed to the economic development of the country.
