I highly recommend getting a part time job. I wouldn't cope without one. The careers team are amazing at helping you boost your Employability, and the app Handshake is a great way of applying.

Make sure to make a weekly budget and to stick it, shop at Aldi or Lidl and always use student discount at shops which allow it. If possible try and get a part time job as well so you’ve got additional income

I have a spread sheet and separate account for my rent- just so I definitely don’t over spend. Would recommend saying in your head how much you want to spend that week. Would also recommend a student bank account due to the benefits you can get with that :)

My biggest tip would be to use a spreadsheet. It helped me keep track for a number of years, and having something physical to look at really helps you prioritise what is important and what you can wait for.
