This course combines foundational knowledge and practical skills in biomedical science with specialist training in infectious diseases. From emerging pandemics and antimicrobial resistance to the ongoing fight against infectious diseases, this course will prepare you to address some of the greatest health challenges facing humanity.

Biomedical science is an interdisciplinary field focused on advances in understanding human health and disease. By combining this with expertise in infectious disease surveillance and control, you will gain hands-on practical experience in detecting, monitoring, treating and preventing infections, and learn how to apply your knowledge to real-world problems.
