The School of Environmental and Life Sciences is one of the largest in the University and has a diversity of science-based disciplines that achieved impressive ERA rankings in 2015. These outstanding achievements provide excellent graduate outcomes and attract researchers and academics who are experts in their field, including Laureate Professor John Aitken who is renowned internationally for his research into reproductive biology and was named NSW Scientist of the Year in 2012. Our father and son team, Dr John Clulow and Simon Clulow are also leading the charge into the conservation of the green and golden bell frog and along with Professor Michael Mahony are deeply involved with the Lazarus Project which made TIME Magazine's 25 Best Inventions for 2013.
