Social Science Research at ECU concentrates around vulnerability people and community wellbeing equity gender rights and improving the quality of social and community services through research centred upon policy evaluationSocial Science consists of several programs being Social Science Social Work and Youth Work Specific postgraduate research topics are developed in conjunction with the postgraduate coordinator or potential supervisor however applications are particularly encouraged from those with an interest in Vulnerability and social inclusion Gender equity Youth and youth work issues Family violence Social work issues Community development and sustainability Disability Scholarship of teaching and learning Social program evaluation Researchers in the school are currently involved in projects investigating childrens rights family violence young people and homelessness peer mentoring eco social work disability issues child protection practices reflective practices in social work suicide and reconceptualising childhood
