Year 10 High School Program

The Year 10 Program prepares you for study in Year 11 and Year 12. Year 10 students are provided with a comprehensive curriculum and all students study the same subjects. These subjects are designed to build on existing knowledge and prepare them for the requirements of the Victorian education system.

The mode of study is face to face. Assessments are a combination of assignments, case studies, exams, tests, lab reports, projects, presentation and oral assessment.

The Year 10 course is a preparation for VCE (Year 12) study. Many of the approaches used in the delivery of these subjects are similar to those used in VCE subjects. Students who are of a very high standard may be permitted to study one VCE subject in Year 10. This possibility is only available to students who start Year 10 at the start of the year in January.
