The Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and the Beedie School of Business co-operate to offer this bachelor of science (BSc) joint honours program. This program offers in-depth combined training that is pertinent to development and administration in emergent biotechnology enterprises. Molecular biology and biochemistry form the scientific and technological underpinnings of today’s burgeoning biotechnology field while business administration teaches fundamentals of economics, management, marketing, investment and business law.Gain a strong foundation in the Life Sciences through theoretical and experiential learning in the areas of Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Genomics, Infection and Immunity.
