The demand for pathologists and pathologist assistants across North America continues to grow with increased use of tissue diagnosis and the related knowledge base. The Pathology (MSc) program offers two paths to earn an MSc degree for Honours Science graduates who have a strong background in biology a research-based program and thesis, or a practicum that leads to a paramedical designation as a pathologist assistant where youll be responsible for tasks required to practice anatomical pathologyThe Department of Pathology teaches pathology to both graduate and postgraduate students in the health sciences. We also carry out research across pathology and its allied medical disciplines. Our department members provide diagnostic service in anatomic pathology and haematology at the Health Sciences Centre and St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg.
