The MA in Irish Studies is an innovative, contemporary course that provides students with the opportunity to acquire specialist academic skills through a deeper exploration of the Irish language, culture, and literature. You will be given the opportunity to improve your research and analytical abilities by acquiring a range of research skills and by engaging with various sources of information and criticism. Fiontar & Scoil na Gaeilge is a multidisciplinary school that is internationally recognised for the quality of research carried out by its academic and digital projects teams. The programme is available on a full-time (one year) or part-time (two years) basis. Lectures take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, allowing the programme to be combined with work and other commitments. It is taught through the medium of Irish.
