MA Gender Studies with a Placement Year (Sep)

University of East Anglia UEA

Explore how gender intersects with race, sexuality, disability and class within global institutions and governance systems. You’ll compare policy frameworks and organisational models across regions, learning how culture, law, and politics shape equality strategies.

Studying with a diverse international cohort will strengthen your ability to work confidently across cultures and institutions. Through seminars and applied projects, you’ll develop advanced skills in strategic analysis, professional communication and research design.

You’ll learn to turn gender theory into practical approaches for policy and organisations. Your independent project lets you focus on a global issue that matters to you, with the option to gain real-world experience through placement-based study.
