The computer science program at USF will teach you, first and foremost, to be a great software engineer - the kind that gets hired before graduation by the startup (or tech giant) down the street. Even better, you will know how to use those skills to change the world. Explain and analyze standard computer science algorithms and describe and analyze theoretical aspects of various programming languages. Apply problem-solving skills to implement medium and large scale programs in a variety of programming languages. Demonstrate effective communication and organization as part of a team of software developers or researchers collaborating on a large computer program.
