Bachelor of Science in Mathematics - Secondary Teacher Certification

Oklahoma State University

Mathematics covers many areas of quantitative study, including topics in pure mathematics, applications to areas like cryptography and fluid flow, and preparation for careers in teaching, finance and other industries. Small class sizes and innovative, project-oriented courses such as "Geometry and Algorithms in 3-D Modeling" enhance the curriculum for mathematics majors at OSU. Our degrees focus both on pure mathematics and careers in a variety of STEM fields or graduate school. You'll have many opportunities for related work experiences during college as well, including assisting in math classrooms or in the Mathematics Learning Success Center.
