STEM-classified degree: graduates are eligible for 3 years of Optional Practical Training (OPT) in the USA. This program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). In the Bachelor of Science program in business data analytics, business students gain the requisite knowledge, skills and experience to create and manage big data initiatives and associated business processes to facilitate large-scale business data analytics in organizations. Students learn organizational and technical competencies to implement data gathering, cleansing, integration and modeling tasks, as well as data asset analysis for business applications. The program covers data warehousing, dimensional modeling, big data analytics methods, and visualization tools and techniques, and it introduces topics such as data mining and predictive analytics.
3.4 GPA or equivalent. Must have three years of high school coursework. (If you are currently in high school, ASU needs to see 9–11 grade coursework. If you have completed high school, ASU needs to see 10–12 grade coursework.)Must have and present a completed high school diploma or certificate.
