The Doctor of Philosophy degree is designed to prepare you for a career in either an academic or industrial setting. In addition to taking a prescribed set of core courses, you must take sufficient courses in one specialized area and complete a dissertation. Facilities include the Language and Intelligence Laboratory, the Data Engineering Laboratory, the Interactive Digital Entertainment Laboratory, the Virtual Reality and Information Centric Engineering Laboratory, Collaborative Learning Laboratory, the Robotic Cognition Laboratory, the Cyber Security Laboratory, the Visual Understanding and Complex Systems Laboratory, the iMac Mobile App Laboratory, and the Intelligent Learning for Explainable Acute Decision-Support Laboratory.
