Enhanced Skills Certificate in Communication Design

The Enhanced Skills Certificate is earned through the completion of two post-graduation courses and is designed for students who have earned an AAS Degree in Communication Design. The first course is ARTC 2388, Internship-Communication & Advertising Art. This is a work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills and concepts. A learning plan is developed by the college and the employer. The second course is MRKG 1311, Principles of Marketing. This course is an introduction to marketing functions identification of consumer and organizational needs explanation of economic, psychological, sociological, and global issues and description and analysis of the importance of marketing research. Advanced study in graphic design marketing and internships.
