The PhD program in Health Education & Promotion is designed to provide students with coursework and practical experiences needed to become leading faculty, researchers, and scholars in health education and health promotion. By the conclusion of the program, students will be able to do the following: clearly conceptualize the theoretical and philosophical basis of health education and health promotion effectively plan, implement, and evaluate health education and health promotion programs elucidate the psychological and sociological influences on health education and promotion and conduct their own independent research projects.
