Master of Landscape Architecture - Advanced Standing (Path C)

The Master in Landscape Architecture program advances design and planning solutions for environmental resiliency, urban placemaking, and quality of life. Through interdisciplinary teaching, research, and community engagement, the program will promote leading-edge design and planning by capitalizing on our unique place within a transferable urban lab environment (DFW). The program encompasses the body of knowledge common to the profession of landscape architecture and promotes knowledge and skills necessary to enter professional practice.Students with first professional degrees in landscape architecture and/or professional licenses may also apply for advanced standing, allowing them to enter the research (third year) phase of the curriculum. Advanced standing in these cases requires a minimum of 30 total credit hours for graduation.
