The need for public health professionals has escalated dramatically since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Public health careers can be found in local, state, and federal government and non-governmental agencies, nonprofit organizations, businesses and corporations, hospitals, state and county health departments, universities, and with grant-funded research and projects. Master's in Public Health (MPH) students possess a passion to change their communities through injury and disease prevention, and this curriculum equips students with multi-disciplinary, evidenced-based approaches and expertise to accomplish the same.The MPH program focuses on training public health professionals to improve health and well-being of rural and underserved populations. The MS in MPH has an embedded graduate certificate that can be earned on the way to degree completion. 42 Credit HoursMPH Graduate Program Proposed Curriculum Practicum or ThesisStudents may choose to complete either a thesis or an applied practicum experience.In-Person or OnlineThe MPH course may be completed in-person in Stillwater or Tulsa, online, or a hybrid of both.
