The Master of Public Policy (MPP) program at the UCR School of Public Policy is the only such program offered by a major research university in inland Southern California. Our students are trained in evidence-based, pragmatic policy making to solve problems plaguing our region and the world.

UCR Master of Public Policy students' training over the two-year program will be informed by:

a diverse, interdisciplinary curriculum that emphasizes evidence-based policy research as well as cross-learning from both international and domestic problem-solving experiences,
a rich internship program that emphasizes experiential learning, and
a capstone project.
Students can choose to specialize in a broad variety of fields by a combination of the curriculum mentioned.
