You can be a leader in engineering by combining a degree that delivers functional expertise in advanced engineering coursework with Lerner’s innovative and collaborative management training. The dual M.S. in mechanical engineering/MBA will provide students with the necessary skills to broaden their engineering knowledge while gaining a detailed understanding of the business environment. Although it does not preclude the possibility of engineering research (when the student chooses to pursue the engineering master’s degree with thesis), the dual degree can be achieved with a non-thesis master’s degree in engineering. The dual degree program offers a faster time to completion than pursuing the degrees separately. The program counts 15 engineering credits toward the MBA, reducing the required credit hours to 62. In order to take advantage of this credit savings, you must be admitted to the dual degree program before completing either the engineering or MBA program.
