Undergraduate Certificate in Integrated Design and Manufacturing

Western Michigan University's integrated design and manufacturing certificate is a 16-credit-hour certificate program that engages students at an early stage in manufacturing and design that will lead to education and workforce pathways. The courses in this certificate program lead directly into Bachelor of Science degree programs in manufacturing engineering technology, engineering design technology and engineering management technology degree programs. The courses in this certificate program may also be transferred for credit in associate degree programs at several Michigan community colleges. At least nine of the 16 credit hours required to complete the certificate in integrated design and manufacturing must be fulfilled by courses taken from WMU.
