The Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Media Communication double degree will provide you with analytical and critical thinking skills through a core program of professional communication practice alongside development of cross-cultural competency, social awareness and a global outlook.The Bachelor of Arts offers you 30 areas of study to choose from, including history, psychology, sociology, languages, politics and international relations, and provides you with interpersonal skills, empathy, critical thinking, cultural awareness and a global outlook.Within the Bachelor of Media Communication, you will choose from one of four specialisations: Journalism, Media, Public Relations or Screen. Your core units will offer a range of practical experiences utilising the Monash Media Lab.This double degree is suitable if you wish to pursue a career in media communication occupations across a broad range of domains, including government, corporate and NGO.
