Students who have a broad set of interests, with an underlying passion for health care should complete this double degree as you will have extensive opportunities to explore your passions across this four-year program.The Bachelor of Arts / Master of Nursing is a combined degree that allows you to develop your analytical skills, think independently and form and articulate judgements based on argument and evidence while exploring different branches and interest in Arts and Social Sciences.You will complete a major or program from the Arts and Social Sciences disciplinary pool, along with an additional minor or second major from the disciplinary pool or the shared pool. Additionally, you will complete units from the Open Learning Environment, and any elective units as needed to make up the required credit points for the course.Your first year will be made up of only Arts and Social Science units and you will commence nursing subjects from second year onwards. You must meet a satisfactory academic standard to progress to the Master of Nursing. You will commence units comprising coursework and a substantial amount of practical work, with over 800 hours of clinical placements in the nursing component of your degree.
