In our Journalism and Content Production course, you’ll be immersed in digital news and content creation, learning to report accurately on important issues while producing podcasts, visual stories, reels, data visualisation and multimedia.

In a world inundated with information, effective journalistic skill and content creation is a powerful tool that can break through the noise and help shape public discourse. Through rigorous training and newsroom simulation, you will learn to investigate, research and report the news on various media platforms.

Along with innovative content production practices, you will also explore traditional journalistic foundations, including news writing, investigations, crime reporting, media literacy and techniques for verifying and spotting disinformation. This blend of old and new equips graduates with a sought-after skill set.

Unlike traditional desk jobs, journalism offers an exciting career where no two days are the same and you will take on important stories, like travelling to Indonesia to investigate shark fishing, speaking to the community, celebrities, politicians and sporting greats. Graduates then move into a dynamic industry experiencing exponential growth - particularly in areas such as podcasting.
