Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is for people who are interested in working in the Disability sector to support people with disability in home and / or community settings. Learners will be provided with the knowledge and skills to carry out activities related to maintaining and maximising the independence and wellbeing of people with disability. You will learn the importance of providing choice and control for people with disability and will learn specialist skills best practice approaches in skill development and person-centred support. This qualification would suit people who value supporting and working with people with disability and who have an interest in enhancing and empowering people with disability to live their best life.
