The Extended intake provides students opportunity for students who need additional preparation in Mathematics and English. This program gives you more time to strengthen your skills and confidence before progressing to the Standard Foundation Year and then Monash University. The Extended Program includes 12 units delivered over three semesters. The first semester helps you build foundation skills in English, Mathematics, and Science. In the first semester, you will complete four units: Extended English, Ideas and Communication, and two electives aligned with your study goals - either Business Enterprise or Chemistry and Life, plus a Mathematics unit suited to your level. After completing the first semester, you will progress to the Standard Foundation Year Program to complete the remaining two semesters. Throughout your studies, you will receive academic and wellbeing support, continuous feedback, and formative assessments to track your progress and stay on course for success at Monash University.
