Education research at ECU focuses on informing educational policy and curricula enhancing school leadership to achieve school improvement increasing teacher effectiveness and improving student engagement and learning outcomes at every levelSpecific postgraduate research topics are developed in conjunction with the postgraduate coordinator or potential supervisor however applications are particularly encouraged from students with an interest in Curriculum and pedagogy Early childhood Digital futures Assessment and evaluation Educational leadership Professional learning Indigenous education Physical and health education Researchers in the School are currently involved in projects investigating digital literacies educational leadership early childhood education literacy cultural competency and curriculum and assessment topics The School also offers oncampus facilities and work spaces at both the Mount Lawley and Joondalup campuses and supports offcampus students via a range of contact strategies
