Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour, cognition, and emotions. We examine psychological issues at multiple levels of analysis, from the neuronal level to the broad societal context. Students who wish to pursue this honours program are first declared to the major program and, once certain course work and grade requirements are met, then the student may apply for declaration to the honours program.The Department of Psychology offers programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level. At the undergraduate studies level, we offer BA and BA Honours in Psychology, as well as joint major, minor and extended minor for students pursuing a degree in another discipline. At the graduate studies level, we offer both MA and PhD degree programs in our six core areas of Psychology. We also offer a professional PhD training program in Clinical Psychology.
