Bachelor of Science with Honors in Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Biology

This program focuses on the interactions of organisms with their environment, the diversity of organisms, adaptations, and the mechanisms underlying evolutionary change. You’ll gain foundational knowledge in plant, animal and microbial ecology and evolution, studying at the level of individuals, populations, communities and ecosystems, and at a variety of spatial and temporal scales. The Bachelor of Science with Honors is a degree program designed for students to reach in-depth training in a specific subject area and are drawn to scientific research. A research thesis project is embedded in each program and students must maintain higher academic standards than those in a BSc Major degree. Students have the option to add a minor from the Faculty of Arts, Native Studies, Business or Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences, however doing so will reduce the amount of option courses.
