Medicine 2030 is UCD’s innovative, outcomes-based medical programme leading to the MB BCh BAO degree. Building on UCD’s longstanding strengths in biomedical science, research and extensive clinical training, the programme prepares compassionate, patient-centred doctors for modern healthcare practice. Students develop the knowledge, clinical skills and professional competencies needed for 21st-century medicine, including digital healthcare, sustainability, teamwork, communication and research, while maintaining a strong focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
